Elder Dulan from NPUC the guest speaker at Missoula-area 'Zoom' Service
On Sabbath, April 25th, Elder Byron Dulan, vice-president of the North Pacific Union Conference, presented the message to the Missoula Adventist community in a ‘Zoom’ church service attended by 29 families. The sermon, titled Ruth: Change Agent, focused on four themes from the book of Ruth.
Elder Dulan led the attentive congregation in a study of how’s Ruth’s Character Commitment led to the Consecrated Conduct that enabled Ruth to be unafraid to exhibit Bold Action and as a result of this strong motivation, lead her to be instrumental in Catalytic Change. Ruth, once an outsider and alien to God, became not only part of Israel but part of the lineage of Christ.
The church was challenged to be a ‘Change Agent’ by allowing the power of God to work both in us and through us and thus be able to “change famine into feast and pain into gain” as we adapt to the changes and the opportunities for evangelism presented by the Covid-19 pandemic.
A blessing was received by all.
